The application process is simple. We allow you to fill out a traditional application or an online application. If you choose to fill out the traditional application, please fill it out and return it to the Eliot Fire Chief on a Monday Night after 6:30 PM. If you choose to fill out the online application, please find it out below and submit it. Regardless of how you submit, the Fire Chief will review your application and contact you about setting up an interview.
Here’s what you can expect next:
- A tour of the station.
- If after the interview you wish to continue the process, your application will be forwarded to the membership for acceptance and acted upon during the regular business meeting on the 3rd Monday of the following month.
- You will be notified by mail or in-person to start initial training on a specific date.
- You will then meet with the Deputy Fire Chief to set up your initial training.
